Full Project Description:

Technospud.com is proud to present our SIXTH year of using Oreos to teach Math, History, Language Arts, Science, Technology, and more in your classroom!

Registration begins September 1st!! This year we will be comparing the creme filling of 25 Regular Stuf Oreos against the creme filling of 25 Double Stuf Oreos!

There will be worksheets, games, fun links, trivia, lesson ideas, and more to help you bring FUN into your classroom!

This project will run from September 13th, 2004 until October 8th, 2004 and classes from all over the world are invited to join in!!

Objectives:

To provide teachers with a variety of ways to bring creative learning into their classroom when using Oreo cookies as the manipulative.

To provide teachers with a way to communicate with their peers in sharing ideas on ways to use oreo cookies in the classroom.

To provide teachers with a fun way of teaching and have students able to compare results with other schools all over the world.

Registration Information

Registration Status: Closed

Registration Dates: 9/01/04 to 9/15/04

Registration Instructions: Registration begins on September 1. Project dates are 9/13 to 10/8, 2004.

Teachers will need to buy 1 bag of regular oreos and 1 bag of double stuf oreos. Teachers will need plastic knives (or craft sticks) to scrape out the stuf, paper plates to hold the stuf, and a meauring tool such as a food scale.

Teachers will post their data to a website which will show their results immediately and which they can download into an excel spreadsheet.

All participating classes will receive a certificate of participation available at the time of posting data.
