Full Project Description:
Join us in our 5th year of Online Projects using Oreo Cookies. This year we will be comparing the weight of creme filling in oreo cookies versus the weight of creme filling in double stuf cookies. We hypothesize that the creme filling of the "regular" oreos will weigh more than the weight of the "double stuf" oreos.
Teachers will be provided with tally sheets, worksheets, lesson plans ideas, and CA standards will be available.
This project will run from September 15 - October 10, 2003.
We are also inviting students/classes to enter 1 Oreo Sculpture for the Scultpure Show. You may only use Oreos and creme filling -- but I bet the sculptures will be fantastic!!
Objectives:
To provide a fun way to teach compare and contrasting skills, and also weight and measurement.
Students/Teachers will post their information and data will be updated INSTANTLY to give an accurate and uptodate results of this project.
