Full Project Description:
Interactive study of Greek mythology, open to grades 3-9. Classroom activities in history, creative writing, drama provided to teachers. On-line, students discuss mythology, participate in interactive activities and submit research and creative writing. Moderated e-mail conversation with the Greek gods! Each week a chapter in an original story about Greek mythology is presented on-line. All activities center on the story and on the introduction of the Greek pantheon. All student work published on the Web.
Objectives:
To use Greek mythology and history as a backdrop to creative writing, drama and history activities. To create an on-line discussion group on the subject of mythology. To provide an on-line publishing forum for student work.
