Description of Our Community: Located in the geographical center of Changhua County, Xihu Town is a large agricultural town for farming, production and marketing. In 1954 (43 years of the Republic of China), the Fuhu Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Market was established at the Xihu Town Office of the Agricultural Rehabilitation Association. It is an important fruit and vegetable market in central Taiwan. After its establishment, it will become the largest market for vegetable production in Taiwan. It is the largest fruit and vegetable market in Taiwan for forty years. The locals call it "big vegetable market",in central Taiwan.
Project Description: In the early morning of dawn, a truck loaded with fruits and vegetables from all over the country went in and out of the market. The sound of the cars, trucks and people tells us a new day has began in the Xihu Market!
Our school is located in Xihu Town, Changhua County. The total number of students is about 950.
Whether in the morning or evening, there are always activities in the Xihu Market. We want to do an interview about the Market Company to understand the history and operation of the market.Through market exploration, interviews and data collection, we will conduct an in-depth study of the operation.
