Description of Our Community: Our school, Minde Junior High School, is located at No.50, Mingde Rd., Beitou Dist., Taipei City. This time, we cooperated with Taipei Digital Art Center( address: No.180, Fuhua Rd., Shilin Dist., Taipei City). The distance between the center and our school is less than 650 meters. (8 minutes on foot). Taipei Digital Art Center is in the vicinity of Zhishan Station and near Shilin and Tianmu Business Districts, where the traffic is very convenient. It used to be called Shihlin District, Taipei City Fifth Meat Wholesale Market. However in 2004, the government considered building a digital art center in this area. After estimating, the government decided to build the center at the place. Therefore, the center started to provide their services on June 28th 2009. The space design of digital art not only brings people new experiences but is also faithful to its original ideas. In addition, the center can also attract potential visitors through its spectacular appearance. Taipei Digital Art Center plans to hold” Open Digital Art Carnival” every year. Its short or long term goal is to connect with other art galleries, business spaces and public spaces to break through the limited availabilities in locations for digital art.
