Description of Our Community: The U.G. Paper Company was established in 1984 and lies at No.1, Silin Road, Jiaosu Village, Yanchao District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan and restructured to the U.G. Paper Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as the U.G. Paper Company) to expand its business in 1993. The goal of the U.G. Paper Company is MIT (made in Taiwan) and to bring new elements to traditional industry. It has worked hard along with industrial upgrade for 3 decades. Continuing developing big size packaging to provide high quality and big size paper products with durable EP materials, devoting the design, manufacture and R&D (research and development) of cardboard boxes, paper products and soft paper towels for satisfying the need of customers. Many products which have not only gotten ISO9001 and ISO14001 international quality certifications but met the standards of ROHS export to Europe and America. Hi-tech machinery and R&D of the products are the major elements to its sustainable growth. By this report, we want to know the secret of how U.G Paper Company has been improving the efficiency of production, increasing the value of products, and creating profits together.

Project Description: U.G. Paper Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as the U.G. Paper Company) is located at Yanchao Distrtrict, the west region of central Kaohsiung,Yanchao District lies on a plain area with badlands, such as mud volcanoes, bare rocks and falls. It was originally the dwelling place of the Makatto tribe of the Ping-Pu aborigines, called Da-Jie-Dians. In 1920, Place Name “Yuanjiao, ” of which the original Taiwanese pronunciation was changed to Japanese Kanji “Yanchao”, and the tribe of Yanchao Zhuang was thus established. It was placed under the jurisdiction of Okayama County, Kaohsiung State. Yanchao Township was established after the Second Sino-Japanese War. On December 25, 2010, the former Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung County were combined, and the Yanchao Township was renamed as Yanchao District. Guava and jujube are two kinds of the major special produce in Yanchao.
