Description of Our Community: “Cheng-Kung Green Camping Place for Learning” located in Bagua Terrace Ground in Changhua County. Originally a laid-aside military camp, now “Cheng-Kung Green Camping Place for Learning” is a successful case of the reuse of idling place and the vitalization of urban green place that can maintain the biodiversity. Having linked up the original Changhua Bagua Mountain Scenic Resort, the camping place has grown into a more complete route for recreation. The abundant and diversifying eco-resource here has made this camping place a place for both families and schools.

Project Description: There are abundant natural resources and historical military remains in “Cheng-Kung Green Camping Place for Learning.” Although many eco-learning activities were held there, still not all of citizens in Changhua city are familiar with this place. And it’s our goal to discover deeply about its environmental and touristic resources through our case study by doing questionnaire survey, on-the-spot investigation and school seminars. We, the green expedition team, also brainstormed some interesting and fun activities and hopefully, though our effort, more and more people can get to know more about this beautiful, unadorned and educational oriented secret garden-“Cheng-Kung Green Camping Place for Learning.”
