Description of Our Community: Petit Goave is a small fishing community in Haiti, located approximately 30 miles west of Port-au-Prince along the southeastern southern peninsula.

Project Description: Haiti Ocean Project focuses on marine education, conservation, research and ecotourism. The primary mission of the project is to protect local whale and dolphin populations through education of youth, marine research, public policy and whale and dolphin watching. The project is facilitated by a group of Haitian youth and fishermen.
