Description of Our Community: Manchester of South India commonly called as 'Kovai' is well known for its second sweetest water 'SIRUVANI'. Kongu Tamil spoken in coimbatore is popular for its beautiful slang. It is situated in the western ghats known for its pleasant weather and has easy access to the famous hill stations around. People with varied culture and religion dwell here. Seven major universities are located in and around coimbatore.

Project Description: Our project "Sculpting" is based on Local Music and Art forms. Sculpture is the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions. It is one of the plastic arts. Durable sculptural processes originally used carving (the removal of material) and modelling (the addition of material, as clay), in stone, metal, ceramics, wood and other materials but, since modernism, shifts in sculptural process led to an almost complete freedom of materials and process. A wide variety of materials may be worked by removal such as carving, assembled by welding or modelling, or molded, or cast.
