Description of Our Community: Siluo is situated in the northern tip of Yunlin County, its border to Changhua County demarked by the Jhuoshuei River. It is one of the major towns of the great alluvial plain of Jhuoshuei River, having an area of 4,993 hectares. The field was ranked as the best and it has excellent irrigation and drainage system that makes Siluo the most important agriculture production place in Taiwan. Babusa are the first settlers of Siluo. They were followed by Chinese immigrants and also the Dutch. The Dutch called it Sorean. This was how Siluo got its name. Siluo was developed very early and built well by the Japanese during their rule, so it became a modern agriculture town back then. Siluo wish that they can have a promising future standing on their cultural possessions from ancestors.

Project Description: The reason why we picked Siluo for our project could trace back to a series of food safety problems recently. Chemical soy sauce reminded us the real healthy soy sauce and the origin was in Siluo, a town nearby. When we were collecting information, we realized Siluo was a town rich in culture. In order to make people learn more about Siluo, we introduced Siluo from five aspects: Siluo Bridge, Yenping Old Street, food, culture, questionnaire, team members
