Description of Our Community: Lukang was an important sea port in the 18th century and 19th century. It was the most populous city in central Taiwan until the early 20th century. Therefore, we can see many historical buildings, old temples, great arts and crafts here. In weekday, there are many tourists to Lukang to enjoy the traditional culture. It is a good place to introduce other people.

Project Description: Taiwan Lantern Festival has been held for 22 years. Every time, the Taiwan Lantern Festival attracts so many people. In 2012, Changhua County was selected due to the traditional lantern craft, ancient relics and parade formation culture to host lantern festival of the dragon year. This time, Taiwan Lantern Festival at Lukang is the most magnificent and brilliant lantern festival ever held. We can not only visit lanterns but also experience the traditional folklore, culture and food of Lukang. It is a good chance to understand this local town how wonderful it is.
