Description of Our Community: We are students of New Taipei City Fuhe Junior High School. We live in Yonghe District, which belongs to New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. It has the highest population density in Taiwan, with over 41,300 people per square km. Yonghe is adjacent to Taipei City, the capital city of Taiwan, so it is prosperous in its economy, transportation, education and multi-cultures. It is also famous for its “soy milk”, and breakfast stores advertising "Yonghe Soy Milk" can be found all over Taiwan and even overseas. Our school is the largest junior high school in Yonghe District, with 3,700 students and more than 300 teachers. In addition, There is a community university located right in our school. The interviewee of our project, Mr. Zheng Bang-jia, was a student of Yonghe Community University and now a lecturer who teaches woodworking.

Project Description: The project aims to illustrate the spirit of “Dream and Unite” by spotlighting a local master of woodworking—Zheng Bang-jia. Through several interviews and meetings, all project members learned valuable lessons from Mr. Zheng’s life experience, philosophy and his DIY woodworking courses. That is why we want to introduce Mr. Zheng to the whole world, for everone who knows him will surely be deeply moved by the dream builder.
