Description of Our Community: We come from Yunlin county, situated in central-south area of Taiwan.

Project Description: No sooner had foreigners heard “Made in Taiwan” than they showed a withering contempt for Taiwan's products, which were labeled with low quality, low prices. Surprisingly, as half of a century went by, the "Made in Taiwan" brand has been becoming very catchy and increasing its visibility, e.g. Taiwan’s semiconductors dominated in PCs worldwide, ubiquitous “Giant” bikes in parks, athletes riding CSK bikes in international cycling competitions, yachts anchored in harbors, most of which are made in Taiwan. Such a dramatic change arouses our curiosity to probe into how the MIT goods accommodate to ever-changing world’s economy, shed their image as low-priced products, moving up to the design and technology development phase? We, therefore, are keen to tell you a “MIT Story” in hope that everyone promotes the “MIT” quality mark on our local products.
