Description of Our Community: Traditionally, the Taroko tribe is living in the mountains of Taiwan's Central Mountain Range. So the tribe living mainly depends on forest resources. Forest is the tribe lives, culture and everything. Each hunter is the main lifeblood of family life of the tribe. Not only he learns to hunt all the skills from an early age, but also protect forests in mountain and forests co-exist is more important. As a result of above-mentioned, it causes many traditional standards and taboos and interesting stories. Taiwan's government in recent years developed a number of systems to protect indigenous culture and industry marketing. We set off a wave of tribal culture to explore. A modest opening of hunting areas is important to the traditional hunting culture. Not only respecting and protecting of different local groups, but also retaining its unique and rich culture.
