Description of Our Community: a local metal mosaic artist in Jiou Feng,a smallmontain villaged located in the northeast part of Taiwan.

Project Description: We will study a local arist, Darfar Hu, whose artworks have been recoganized the unique 'Meal Mosaic'. the thesems of his works are derived from his visual hildhood memories of Jioufan.He captures the natural aspects of the mountain village as well as its inhabitants' life style from 1940's to 1960's. Our goal of this project is to lead the students to trace back the history of our town through the artworks and raise everyne's awareness of cherishing the place where we live and using the environmental friendly elements to creat our uniquie artforms.
