Description of Our Community: Being an international city, one finds within Taipei almost everything modern - with the interspersing of Tamsui and Keelung rivers cutting through the metropolis. Held annually at the Dah Jiah Embankment Park not far from our school, the International Dragon Boat Festival Tournament is, quite the reverse, marked by a dense aura of antiquity. Owing to the fact that the Dragon Boat Festival ranks as one of our most important festivals; and with it two inevitable activities: the eating of Zongzi and the rowing contests of dragon boats, we want to make this meaningful festival more widely known. So we hope to promote it on a worldwide scale, so that people everywhere in the world know it to be our unique festival.

Project Description: For a long time, we are accustomed to eating rice-dumplings, watching dragon boat racing, and wearing a sachet on Dragon Boat Festival. That's usually the way we spend this holiday. However, this year, we tried to thoroughly understand how a dragon boat is made, tried to wrap a rice-dumpling by ourselves, and we even interviewed the foreigners at the tournament. Though we were tired, we had fun. we just want to know everything about the Dragon Boat Festival.
