Description of Our Community: The Jiuzhuang Hill is behind the Jiuzhuang Elementary School (JZES). In fact, most of the hill belongs to the school, except the land in the west where the Hu Shih Park is located. In the eyes of the pupils, who is Dr. Hu Shih and what stories are found inside?

Project Description: Commonly known as the Philosophers’ Garden, the Hu Shih Park is adjacent to Jiuzhuang Elementary School (JZES ) and its playground. As it is filled with a cultural and literary atmosphere, it is an ideal place for outdoor education. Inside the park there are mausoleums of Hu Shih and Tung Tso-pin and the monument to Wu Ta-you. They are eminent figures in the history, literature and science of contemporary China. It is a great honor for JZES to share the neighborhood with the resting place of these great Chinese philosophers who inspire our curiosity.
