Description of Our Community: Taoyuan County Fushing Township is proud of three mounts: Najie Mt., Fuchi Mt. and Chian Mt.. With an altitude of 1520m, Najie Mt. has a foundation stone of serial No. 1532, as Fuchi Mt.. The name of Najie Mt. is originated from “Najie Tribe”, where “Najie” means a small bamboo, i.e. arrow bamboo in Atayal dialect. In fact, Najie Mt. is well-known for its steep peak with 80-90 degree towering cliff at eastern and southern sides. In the western and northern sides, there are densely packed jungles of arrow bamboos, making it difficult for climbing. In the former times, Najie Mt. Trail was a major path linking Kesiyono people to the outside world. Walking along this way to Lahao Mt., you can reach Dawan and Beiheng Road. And, you can reach Hsinchu County Chianshi Township via Niaocui Mt; or reach Hsinchu County Guansi Township via Niaocui Mt..

Project Description: The major purpose of Cyberfair is to extend Internet technology into every corner of the society. Setting our target for the students of Kuihui Elementary School, we--some college students from Department of Commercial Design, Christian Chung Yuan University--hope to get an improved insight into Atayal legend and beautiful Najie Mt. while teaching these naive kids with some skills in three aspects.

(1) Learning attitude and human dignity: fostering these kids with correct learning attitude and sound human dignity, while documenting their everyday lives.

(2) Digital information technology: providing technical support to these kids with computer know-how and improve their potential competitiveness.

(3) Cultural research& analysis: setting up database and research subjects with first-hand and second-hand information via field interview, investigation and exploration, while conducting cultural research and analysis.
