In the east of Lo-tung, there is wu-jie township. In the west, there is sang-xin township. And dong-shang township in the south and a beautiful river called Lang-yang River in the north. And the name "Lo-tung" is actually evolved from one of the local aboriginal languages – Pin-pu Aborigine – "Roton." In the beginning, the word "Rotong" means monkeys

Project Description: "Sin-chuan" "chuan-cheng" meaning inheritance in Chinese both have a strong meaning of passing something onto the future. Therefore, our students are quite smart to combine the two into "sing-chuan-cheng." This new word "sing-chung-cheng" not only holds the meaning of passing what we have on but also of having an expectation towards the future. Thus, the topic for this project is "A new Inheritance – the world of Bei-guan at Lo-tung Fu-lang Club." During out researches, we focused on the music and culture in Bei-guan Music, including the god they worship-"shi-chin wang-yei" (one of the gods of the traditional arts).
