The clay industry in the former days, grow as today because of the fast modernize. With peoples’ great passion, Yingge is certainly the kingdom of clay, and a brilliant chapter of clay history.

Project Description: In this world lead by internet communication and advance technology, all the glamorous often make us forget to stop for a second, and see that the source of all beings: our mother earth, is wilting slowly. Remember in history class where we learned that clay containers in prehistoric time were made form raw materials taken form the wild. History teachers also have told us that clay containers were what the archaeologist use to identify the relations between cultures. This is what motivated to have Mr. Won-Kou- Jen to be the attraction of our site, and to further understand the originality and beauty of art. Adding the thought of care for humans, he added the life into his pottery works, and began his masterpiece of the crazed china. This makes us stop and wonder if we should have an open heart towards the fast evolution of technology. We, our team, Clay-o-topians hope that through our interview with Mr. Won-Kou- Jen , we can see the importance of traditional art, and blend it into our lives. So, we dedicate our work to all the hard working people of this wonderful land.
