Description of Our Community: What we do right now is a local survey in Tainan County, Taiwan. We are fortunate to have frog reservations for twenty-five species out of thirty-one which can currently be found in Taiwan. Among them are quite a few precious species, such as Rhacophorus arvalis, Taipei frog and so on. Being educators, we believe that the issue of local animal conservation and its promotion are urgent teaching subjects which should be strongly focused on.

Project Description: The content on our web page contains the students’ reports on frog observation, and it also provides a nice space for the discussions of ecological environment protection and conservation. We are aimed at the research of frog species and their distribution area, trying to build up a frog illustrated handbook and a data bank of frog croaking. We also well used our ecological pond on campus to write a report on the growth of tadpoles, which can be used as guidance for students.
