Description of Our Community: Taiwan is located on the shipping key position of southeast Asia. For the profit of geographic, there are many good and safety harbors around this Island, and became an important cargo collecting and distributing center of Asia. Also, these made frequent and interchange of commercial and communication in the international. Unfortunately, She Once became one of smuggling place of endangered wild animals.
Under the shadow of not success in nursing wild animal, some people of this Island joined force together and established the Pingtung Rescue Center for Endangered Wild Animals(PTRC) is one of them. This kind of action recovered the injury of unlawful trade passively, awakened community inhabitants of this Island by the force of information, but also exchanged various experience and technology in this field with other counties who faced or will be facing the same problems. This regional community has an important norm meaning in the milestone of animal conservation of Taiwan and international society.
Project Description: PTRC is located on south of Taiwan.
The main purpose is to research the job site situation, working philosophy and working manner of specialists in PTRC. And further, is to understand the effort effect of wildlife animal conservation in Taiwan nowadays, and know more rehabilitation, relocation, conservation breeding and many other methods and treating manner about animals.
