Description of Our Community: Wulia Village is in Taipei County. Most of the residents there are t'ai ya tribal people. Wulia is the only mountainous village in Taipei County. Tourism plays the most important part in its economical activities, combining the aboriginal culture (food, festival, handicraft), hotsprings, and landscape (valleys, gorges, cliffs and waterfalls). It is hard to find a place like this in Taiwan. The future direction will be how to balance between ecology and recreation so that the residents can lead a better life and the visitors can have a more wonderful traveling experience. We define our local community as the interactive relationship between tourism and villagers in Wulai. Wulia is famous for its hot-springs and scenery. You can release your stress and enjoy the traditional t'ai ya food here. It is indeed a place worth visiting!

Project Description: Wulai Village began to develop after the Japanese Imperialism Period of Taiwan and became a famous tourist spot. However, it gradually lost its prosperity in the years of modernization. Then it strived to restore the village
