Description of Our Community: Do you know there is a sculptor Jheng, Chun Syong in RenDe Country owing a lots of his works at schools in Tainan City and County, Kaohsiung, and Taichung? In the gate, fence, and buildings, as the "Art Hall", where we live everyday are his relieve sculptors, but we do not know who makes them? It is really "ridiculous". According to on-line searching and telephone interviews, we are surprised that "Master Jheng" was born in YanDiZih of TaiZihCun, RenDe Country, Tainan County. In order to complete our innocent parts, we are willing to lead everyone to have art SPA in visual and mental banquet through series of activities in the Project.
Jheng, Chun Syong have an abundant number of works with strongly grass-rooted sense, as well as much unorganized data. For the Project, we spend more time and energies on data refilling and preparation, such a passionate and persistence challenge. After three months of restless lunch breaks and holidays, we can draw the outline for his art creation and establish frames and textures of website to present to the public. Also, through the Project we expect to share with Master’s contributions on arts in his first half life.
Our students of Ren Deh Junior High School are lucky to have acquainted with sculptor. It must have been Jheng, Chun Syong’s efforts and persistence on scupture that drive the students to study fossils. It is the young generation’s interest in scupture that research on scupture may keep on growing and flowering.
Project Description: FOREVER, FOREVER, and FOREVER again from mouth of Mr. Jheng, Chun Syong becomes so natural, but in such a shock for our hearing. What kind of things can "forever" last? Since ancient time, which "art work" may stand erosion of rain and rotten, heartless destruction of temper and humidity, and touch by hands full of bacteria, virus, and microbiological.
From description of Mr. Jheng, only works of "bronze" and other special materials can have the character of "never eroded", even in outdoor space under destruction of rain and wind and time, still unchanged. It symbols our learning, profound basis to stand surrounding challenges.
Mr. Jheng, ChunSyong created a lot of bronze sculpture works, and for those beginners like us, his ideology is uneasy to be understood. For a work, we used to see the superficial meaning, instead of deep essence, however, it is good that Mr. Jheng lead us to each one, and by his description all works become so lively and can show the beauty of bronze to us.
Life power and loves are shown by Jheng, ChunSyong’s works, especially intimate, grace of women, education emphasis on good virtues, intellectual attainment, good health, solidarity, and aesthetic taste, profiles of people, and image expression, to reflect his creation principle, "firmness in gentility, and gentility in firmness". He insists to make use of simplicity beauty of bronze to present inner part of life and explore to breaking through. All express power and aesthetics by "SamTaiTsi" in prince temple, "So Toil of Mother" in Tainan Municipal Cultural Center, "Confucius" in City Hall, and "Pull net" in CiJin Coastal Park, Kaohsiung City. Here we like to pay our respects to Master with our website, and devote our sincere beautification to him.
