Lost of people will think that Hualien is a undeveloped countryside but it is not true, in Hualien City area you can also find the same atmosphere as Taipei city and the life is easy too. If you leave the city area, you can also experience the peaceful life of the countryside. To the north you will reach the popular taroko national park, in there you can feel the beauty of nature. Last but not least, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is just beside the Hualien city, Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is lead by the Master Cheng Yen, base on charity, medical, education and culture to show mercy to let the whole Taiwan fill with love.

Project Description: In order to put into practice the philosophy of “respecting life” as promoted by Master Cheng Yen, a group of medical volunteers from different organizations in Taiwan established the Tzu Chi medical association (TIMA) in October 1996,One year later, with the hope of treating both physical and mental illnesses around the world, TIMA expanded to include almost a dozen overseas locations.
