Description of Our Community: This organization is different from any other organizations which located on specific position. It established base on the Internet everyone is interested in. Each member of the organization comes from everywhere and use the Internet to link up. THE COMMON THING they do is "Chinese Localization (Translation) for computer's software." Its members separate into Taiwan, also some member come from HongKong and China. So its local community definition is "The people who do Chinese localization for Chinese user." They are so far interested in localization, and establish the organization "CPATCH"(cpatch.org) It means Chinese Patch, a little program, can update the english version software into chinese version. The organization give the chinese patch author in Taiwan a learning and communicating space. And It help the wide Chinese people region to use. So we decide to research the "CPATCH," non-commercial organization in the Internet.

Project Description: Now the Interent is more and more popular. And almost everyone need to use software, but in the Interner, English version is more common. But using software must consider the user's requirement. If someone can provide Chinese version for user, it is most suitable.

More programer are develop program based on English, because there are many little kids who can't understand and use the sofeware in English. Now in Taiwan there are a organization which help the original English version to do localization and let it become Chinese version. It help beginner the fast and easy way to use software. The process called "Chinese Localization," and their organization called "CPATCH." They do localization for no charge, we really need to research it.

The main topic of the project is to know the non-commercial organization in the Internet how to group up and develop, what they give help the software business and so on.
