Description of Our Community: Hualien is located on the eastern side of Taiwan, located between the Central Mountain and the Pacific Ocean. In comparison with the other counties on the Island of Taiwan, Hualien is the largest county with the lowest population density. Also, it has a variety of unique tourist attractions, for instance, Taroko Gorge National Park, Hua-Tong Sea Shore, etc. not to mention a glamorous view of the Pacific Ocean.
Could you imagine enjoying the beautiful sunrise over the ocean without climbing up to a mountain or high hill? Have you ever experienced the sound of the waves running through the rocks without stepping into the cold water? Have you got the chance to see herds of whales and dolphins dancing above the sea from dry land? We have all of these in Hualien. And we are inviting you to come and visit us.
Project Description: ¡§There are dolphins and whales in Taiwan?¡¨ This topic has been ardently discussed and doubted in recent years. Researches made an effort to study and find them, which made an effort to study and find them, which make it possible to sail the whale-watching boat. We can make sure there are a lot of dolphins and whales in waters of Taiwan. In waters of Hualien from Shei-lien to Chi-shei, finding more than 28 sorts of dolphins and whales.¡]According to the report there are 68 sorts of dolphins and whales all over the world¡^. Don¡¦t you feel sad, when you see the dying dolphins and whales in the beach or they are killed cruelly. Dolphins and whales are the important fingerpost for ocean ecosystem. It means that their subsistence can indicate the health of ocean ecosystem. According the researches, dolphins and whales have low genitality , they procreate one baby about 2~3 years, we should protect them immediately. Everything about dolphins and whales are the points in our research , just as sort , protection¡¥ zoology , behavior and the opinions of fishermen¡K By this search , we hope everyone¡¦s protective conception is waken and make a point of protecting zoology.
