Description of Our Community: Our definition of ¡§Local Community¡¨ is ¡§starting off from Gio-fen, rediscovering Taiwan, sharing what we get with everyone in the world¡¨.

Taiwan is an island populated with twenty million people. We have pleasant four seasons, rich natural resources, such as mountains and canyons. People here live in blooming economy and good government care. However, compared with life in 70¡¦s and 80¡¦s, people now turn to large-scale pleasure grounds for entertainment and gradually forget how to enjoy the beauty of nature. Therefore, through interview, discussion, data collection and communication with local literature and history studios, we hope to construct a viewpoint of Taiwan from our teenagers and share it with the world.

Project Description: Taiwan, beautiful Formosa, is what we are always proud of. There is a special landscape named Gio-fen, which is in the northernmost part of Taiwan. We hope that through our teenagers¡¦ fresh originality and creative exploration we can show the beauty of Taiwan, interior of people and culture. Due to international Schools Cyberfair, we learn what normal education can¡¦t afford us, such as interviews, data collection and research, team discussion, web-pages design, and etc.. We also hope to share with others and show young people a right way to learn and observe through this exploration.
