Description of Our Community: Wang Hua District, used to be called Long Sheng District, is the well-known Meng Jia in the past. Meng Jia used to be the most prosperous city in Taipei. After the decades of change, Meng Jia has gone from prosperity to downfall. Fortunately, the local flavor has been preserved. The Wang Hua District is having the tug of war between high technology and traditional culture. We can now see the strong contrast between the rapid transit system built at the end of the century and the old community left from the end of the 19th century.
Project Description: Wan-Hua Area once played an important role in the old days. It was noted and admired for its culture and history. With the advancement of science and technology, Wan-Hua Area is less and less prosperous when compared to what it used to.Let us re-discover and restore its glorious past!
