Description of Our Community: Fengtien Villiage was an officially-run colony during the Japanese Occupation. Its name was Toyota before, but don`t misconstrue, it was not a car company. Now, Fengtien Community is divided into three villages: Fengshan, Fengli and Fengping. This area sits at the north of Hua-don Valley and south of Donhuang University. And it belongs to Shoufeng Xiang, Hualien. The multi-culture is its characteristics. In addition to Japanese culture, Haka,Holo, Abori-ginies and new colonists from other provinces brought in their own cultures. All the cultures mixed together and formed a unique multi-culture of its own.

Project Description: Fengtien Village was once one of the three major Japanese official colonies in Hualien, Taiwan. Nowadays in this village, there are still unique Japanese culture and several historical sites such as Bilian Temple, Japanese farmhous, and tobacco towers. People here are promoting Community Management enthusiastically. This is a very interesting subject to explore and you can find lots of surprising treasure in it.
