Description of Our Community: We grew up in Tainan so our attachment to this city is beyond description. Tainan is in the west-south of Taiwan, with the population of 720,000 people. Tainan is not only the most early developed city but also the place of the longest history in Tiwan. In the 17th century, the Dutch landed in Lu Er Meng and settled in An Ping area of Tainan. They attempted to construct Taiwan as the transiting port for their global trade. After the arrival of Chen Kong Zheng in Ming Dynasty, he started the agriculture of Tainan and drafted a modernization plan for Tainan. After the succession of Chen Kong Zheng's son, he started building schools and initiated the cultural development in Tainan. When Chin Dynasty took the reign, Tainan had become the capital of Taiwan, and that's why there are so many landmarks and monuments left in Tainan now.

Project Description: Because the historical buildings have historical values, cultural significance and aesthetical implication to modern life, they are the valuable treasures so to speak. Our project is to introduce the first-degree monuments of Tainan and we would like to let people understand the historical implication and values of the ancient city-Tainan.
