Description of Our Community: The village Lung-Tan on the Tao-Yuan tableland is a chanting place to visit with abundant natural resources that promise potentialities for art, technology development and construction all together. The village also has so much to be explored and studied, especially the Shi-Men Dam, the one which has been beneficial to the inhabitants in the past, the present and the future. As citizens in Lung-Tan, it¡¦s worthy to praise her and to study more about her. Therefore, we would like to introduce our community into ¡§the intimate affection between the Lung-Tan villagers and the Shi-Men Dam¡¨.

Project Description: To the Lung-Tan Villagers, Shi-Men Dam is not just a new service or modern device. It has breathed new life to and milked this area since the year of 1964. We do hope that through the Cyberspace, the world will see how the beautiful, lively dam has breathed a new life to the Lung-Tan Village and what the village attempts to do in return. Such an interaction is virtually a miniature of what has happened on the lively island.
