1. Description of Our Community

Since childhood, I have been surrounded by a lot of good China traditional artists, majority of them are painters and calligraphy artists. Under influenced, I am now in Academy of Art & Design Tsinghua University High School, I also started my road of art. Beijing’s best known traditional art styles are Peking Opera and calligraphy. Peking Opera is according to the most ancient Chinese opera, Kunqu Opera, combined with characteristics and evolution of the opera in some areas around Beijing. The origin of Chinese calligraphy brush cannot verified, however, in 1954, archaeologists found a set of earliest writing tool, from a Changsha city, Hunan Provence prehistoric tomb, in which there is a brush. In Chinese history, the brush writing is not only a tool for communication, but also an art. Calligraphy evolved with time, interpreted many different font styles.
