Description of Our Team: "Joshua A. Leelan B. Neil S. Kurvie V."

Project Description: Our main topic for our project is the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant. The Project is focusing on the effects of reviving or making the plant run and operate so that it will become a solution to the energy demands of the country. Our project shows a brief historical background and some controversies surrounding it. Even if the plant is decades old, there are still unfinished business concerning it. A factor why we chose this particular topic in our category is because we want to make people aware that our nation will move forward by having a nuclear power plant like many of the nations around the world who have nuclear power plants generating energy for their country. We are also showing why the Filipino people are afraid to use it because of the nuclear fallouts in the Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, and Fukushima. We hope that the project will serve as a warning to the whole community that climate change and global warming may be a big disaster for our country. We are also trying to answer the questions: "will there be an alternative use for the plant?" or "will it be converted into an oil or coal mining company?" etc. We are hoping that our project is being looked upon by environmentalists, anti nuclear organization and eco-friendly/pro naturalist by companies so that they can have ideas on solving the problem in Bataan
