Description of Our Team: Pablo S- Diplomatic and Sharp. Daniel G - Outgoing and Social.

Project Description: The diplomatic ties between Cuba and United States exist long before the arrival to the power of Fidel Castro in 1959; these ties have been filled with discrepancies and arguments in too many different aspects. The history of these diplomatic ties shows constant crises between both countries and international crises as well. This history contains various topics: On one hand the permanent embargo, on the other hand the lack of human rights and civil freedom in the Island. The missiles crisis, the cold war and the Ex-Soviet Union, the migratory crisis, the influential Cuban community in USA, the naval base of Guantanamo, and the differences in the policies towards Cuba of the last presidents of the USA. An infinite number of questions that face the Cuban and American people due political circumstances can be answered through this project. Due to our Cuban background we feel we can contribute and input our knowledge in this issue.
