Project Overview

1. Description of Our Team

We joined in this project because the subject of the project appealed to us. Dragan (18 years old) is the team leader, Coleasa (19 years old) designer, Fagarasan (18 years old) researcher, Zamfir (18 years old) researcher. The teacher that helped us in the developing of our site is Tanasescu Violeta

2. Summary of Our Project

Our web project contains information abour the life and work of Albert Einstein also documetaries and photos.

3. Our Computer and Internet Access

A. Percentage of students using the Internet at home:more than 50%

B. Number of workstations with Internet access in the classroom:more than 6

C. Connection speed used in the classroom:dial-up modem

D. Number of years our classroom has been connected to the Internet:4-6

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

The main problems that we overcome were the html code errors and the lack of working time.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

The participation in Doors to diplomacy meant for us many hours of intensive work and researching, also the hours spent together in developing this site and project was a pleasure for us.

6. How did your activities and research for this Doors to Diplomacy Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Our project adresses to people that want to learn about Albert Einstein. We've made a contest in our high school and we were chosen by our classmates as being the most interesting project. We learned the importance of teamwork and we consulted with our teacher in order to complete our project.

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your Doors to Diplomacy project?

We used Dreamweaver 8.0, Photoshop CS5, Free SlideShow Maker.The main tool that we used was Dreamweaver for writing the html code.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your Doors to Diplomacy project both on-line and in person.

The aim of our project was informing students about Albert Einstein's discoveries some of them which remain unknown to the majority of us.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

This project had a lot of good impact on the community of our highschool and the site was also visited by other people from all ages and education.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Our project didn`t really involved other people because we wanted to do all the work ourselves.
