Our doors to diplomacy talked about human trafficking, this project had a big impact in our English grade. We really enjoyed doing this website, because we learn, and in our young age, we tell people about the issue. We didn't have a lot of problem with the internet, just that the internet in China isn't really fast.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your Doors to Diplomacy project?

The tools we used for this project, we used computers, that it wasn't a big problem, because we all have computer, we used the internet in school, and the Internets in our homes. We also talked to adults to help us learn more about this subject.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your Doors to Diplomacy project both on-line and in person.

We worked as ambassadors in this group,by showing people our website, and talking about it, and explaining to the people how and why you can fix this problem.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

The project will make a difference once people see it, we hope that the people that see our website, and will learn about it, will be able to help to stop human trafficking, by donating money to the companies that are trying to help to stop the human trafficking, or by different ways, for example putting posters around cities, to help prevent the issue.

Teachers and students in our community that have seen our website they actually like it, and learn about human trafficking. But they also help us to improve more our website.

We hope that the people that visited our website understand and be aware about human trafficking, because human trafficking is the modern-day slavery.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We had a lot of help, Ms. Brill, that is our English teacher, help us by letting as be able to create the website, and the topics we needed it for the website, we really appreciate her help. We also used help from our parents, their help had been helpful for us, because they are adults and now a lot about life, so they could be able to help us with human trafficking. The biggest help we had was the internet help, internet had teach us about the issue, and about everything that we included in our website. Thanks to those magnificent help we had been able to have a decent page.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

We realized that overall we are friends, we are also a good working group. We never had any problem between us, we all worked so hard for doors to diplomacy, neither in our friendship, we actually enjoyed to be working us four together in this project. We also realized that we don't really leave in the real world, and that we should star getting more worried about things that are going on around the world, and we don't know that is happening.
