Subject: UPDATE: Winners & Rankings on May 13
Date: 09 May 2020 13:26 PST (GMT -8)

Dear CyberFair 2020 Participants,

We truly appreciate the huge effort you have made to participate in CyberFair this year. We know there were unprecedented challenges resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, such as school and business closings.

In addition, the Global SchoolNet website was unavailable for several days due to technical problems at our service provider.

Because you have worked so hard and have produced so many wonderful projects, we do not want our panel of judges to rush through their evaluations. And, I am also committed to personally reviewing each and every project that was submitted.

Therefore, because of these circumstances, we will be delaying the announcement of rankings and winners a few days. Instead of May 10 as originally stated on the timeline, rankings will be announced on May 13.

I know that you are anxious for the results. So, thank you for your understanding.

More importantly, I hope that you, your families, and your friends are healthy and coping as best as possible during these enormously stressful times.
