Global SchoolNet has been honored to support the "Doors to Diplomacy" educational challenge from 2002-2012, sponsored by the U. S. Department of State -- to encourage middle school and high school students around the world to produce web-based projects that teach about the importance of international affairs and diplomacy. Winning teams have been awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships and cash awards.
