Description of Our Community: Taipei City, as the administrative center of Taiwan since the late 19th century, has been the main stage of development in Taiwan's modern history. The Taipei Metropolitan Area, centered on Taipei City, has a total population of 7.04 million and is the largest metropolitan area in Taiwan. In Taipei, you can keep up with the trend of the world while enjoying a high-quality and safe life. Therefore, Taipei City has twice won “The Best and Worst Cities in the World to Live and Work Abroad” in 2019 and 2020. In modern urban life, the fast pace often makes people feel uncomfortable and desires time to breathe and relieve stress. Many people use physical therapy to relax their bodies and mind. Therefore, massage shops and rehabilitation shops are intensively opened in Taipei. Datong District is an area developed earlier in Taipei, and Dihua Street is the main axis of the entire district. Built-in the 1850s, it has been an important distribution center for grocery, tea, Chinese medicinal materials, and cloth in Taipei. According to statistics, there are more than 100 textile companies, more than 300 cloth shops, and more than 200 Chinese herbal medicine shops near Dihua Street. Through the cooperation with Chinese herbal medicine shops, many rehabilitation shops have begun to set up chain stores. So far, rehabilitation shops and massage shops have spread throughout Datong District.

Project Description: With the increasing pressure nowadays, more and more people rely on physical therapy to relax themselves, and one of the effects that it creates is the rise of "rehabilitation". After our many discussions and analysis, we finally took “rehabilitation” as our theme and used a rehabilitation center, which seems inconspicuous but closely relates to our lives, as the starting point of the research to introduce the entire history and the principle of rehabilitation. Besides, we compare rehabilitation to several other physical therapies that are easy to get confused with. In addition, a feedback questionnaire was issued to make more accurate surveys and in-depth discussions on the course and efficacy of the treatment.
