Description of Our Community: Changhua County, formerly known as "half line", is also known as "the granary of Taiwan". In the Qing Dynasty, Lukang town became one of the rapidly developing cities, bring it the reputation of "Fucheng, Lugang and Manka". There are many delicacies in Changhua, such as meatballs, mutton ovens, preserved fruits, oyster omelet and so on. Agricultural products of Changhua include grapes from Dacun / Xihu, litchi from Fenyuan, guava from Shetou, Yangtao of Yuanlin, and so on. These are all excellent agricultural products sold in the whole Taiwan. Changhua also has different cultural customs due to the immigration of people from Fujian and Guangdong to Taiwan. There is the landmark of Changhua - Bagua mountain, the Longshan Temple in Lugang, which is also known as the "Forbidden City of Taiwan", the Mazu Palace in Lugang. There are also the Hushan Rock (“Tiger Mountain Rock”), Baoang Temple and Qingshui Rock (“Clean Water Rock”), which were the three rocks and two temples famous in ancient times

Project Description: Changhua Roundhouse is located in the north of Changhua railway station. It was built in 1922. The roundhouse building takes the shunting turntable as the center and forms a semicircle arc house with 12 tracks lying radially. It belongs to one of the products left over by the Japanese-occupation period. During the visit, we had the opportunity to see the locomotive entering the roundhouse for maintenance or leave it for duty. We also experienced the actual operation of Roundhouse in a short distance. In addition to the main body of cultural relics in the roundhouse and random dynamic display, there are two robot sculptures in the plant area, which are made of waste engine parts of the electric locomotive of Taiwan Railways. The Roundhouse in Changhua Locomotive Depot continues to operate the maintenance of locomotives, and we can still see the operation of locomotives entering the turntable. Among the six roundhouses, it is now the only living history left. The roundhouse still preserves three steam locomotives, CK101, CK124 and DT668, one steam crane, etc.
