Description of Our Community: Guanyin Temple, Zhulin Mountain, Linkou District Linkou has terraced terrain and is adjacent to see gate. It is prone to fog in winter. During the Ming Zheng dynasty, transportation was not convenient and the Han people had not yet moved in. By the time of the Qing dynasty, a large number of Han people emigrated from China, and the Sanyi people of Quanzhou immigrated here. They brought in their culture and devotion to Guanyin. They prayed for peace and stability in the local area. Therefore, the religion of Guanyin mother became a center of local and oral belief in Linkou. From the reconstruction and renovation of the temples in Zhulin Mountain, witness the development and evolution of Linkou: From the place where many traditional factories were set up, it has become a new city with a prosperous business, and it has also become an area with a growing population and residents from other counties and cities. In the process of new and old changes, the residents of Linkou found that the past culture was gradually forgotten by everyone, and that the newly moved residents have a responsibility to understand. Therefore, they organized the drama of Linkou children, so that everyone can attach importance to the local traditions and traditions. The story keeps Linkou's past and present alive.
Project Description: This year is the second year that we have entered Linkou Kangqiao, and it is also the second year of its establishment. The school has always upheld the international and Taiwan-based spirit, and is committed to cultivating us into a world citizen with social care. Therefore, we hope that the school can be established in the early days of Linkou. Through our research, students from all over the world to Kangqiao can also have a deeper understanding and affection of Linkou. Therefore, members of the community decided to choose the century-old temple—Zhulin Guanyin Temple As the research topic. We look forward to inquiring information and interviewing different generations of old, middle and young generations, field visits and expert discussions. We will be able to enter the corridor of time to fully piece together the history of the construction of Zhulin Mountain Temple, and also understand the development background of Linkou from the side. Finally, combined with the spirit of Linkou Kangqiao's "doing public welfare and giving back to the society", we use actions to contribute our modest efforts and work with temples to give back to local residents, so that our school can be closer to Linkou.
