Description of Our Community: Yuanlin Elementary school is located in Yuanlin city, Middle of Taiwan. It is an old school over a century and we just celebrated his 120 years birthday this year. We are top 5 largest school in Taiwan with more than 2100 teachers and students. our school provide multi-learning programs specialist in Math, Science, Music art and Sports. This year we've chose our topic in Local music and art, and we're very honour that the expert of those Taiwanese childhood songs writer Mr. Fu-Zhen Shi lives in our town and he is a best representative of local dialect children songs, a winner of Biography Award.

Project Description: Our school program runs Native language class on Monday every week. "Mr. Fu-Zhen Shi" a musician/writer of local dialect children songs, his most popular song named "Dian-Zi-Jiao" we can easily sing out. It's broadcasting often in our local radio stations and teachers in class will use his songs as teaching materials too. His unique way of representing children songs inspire our motivation to research in this area.

However, we've seeking for help from Ms. Cao, Head of School Teaching department, and explain our need. She invited few teachers and students to join us as a team for feature researches. We've rewrite few old popular children songs, interviews Mr. Fu-Zhen Shi, students interviewing their families and friends , and performance to local schools too.
