Description of Our Community: Indonesia is blessed with geographic location suitable for growing good quality coffee. It’s tropical climate and mountainous contour of the land is suitable for cultivation of arabic and robusta coffee. Of the three types of coffee in the world, namely arabica, robusta and liberica, Indonesia is one of the largest producing countries of robusta and arabica. Coffee now including in developing tourism in Indonesia. The big name of Indonesian coffee has attract he interest of foreign tourists to come and enjoy Indonesian coffee, directly here in the country. We have a lot of coffee plantation which is spread all over Indonesia.

Project Description: As the fourth largest coffee producing country in the world, Indonesia has its own characteristic compared to other countries. Geographical and topographical diversities create various kinds of coffee plants all over Indonesia. The richness of coffee species makes Indonesia often dubbed as “Coffee Paradise” There are many kinds of Indonesian original coffee species that have become world commodity, such as Aceh Gayo, Toraja, Bali Kintamani, and Papua Wamena coffee. Besides, there is also a very well known type of coffee, called Luwak Coffee/Civet coffee, which is rich in flavour and good for health. Luwak Coffee is consumed not only by Indonesians but also by imported to foreign country. We will distinguish robusta and arabica by its flavour's character. Some areas in Indonesia have their own way in cultivating and processing their coffee.
