Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Our project is to know about Taiwanese aborigine doctors. We're going to visit Medical Association of Indigenous Physicians of Taiwan(MAIPT), because the aborigine doctors in Taiwan has a very low percentage. We want to know why aborigine doctor are not popular in Taiwan.

2. Summary of Our Project

Our International Schools CyberFair web Project is basically about Medical Association for Indigenous People in Taiwan, and the Indigenous doctor Tian Zhixue who had helped lots of remote sites in Taiwan. Those Indigenous doctors in Taiwan are helping the people in remote areas, they teach them medical knowledges, and give them actual try of performing CPR when needed. We want to learn more about them additionally to make everyone understand the importance of indigenous doctors in Taiwan.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

Most of us joined the Cyber Fair competition for the first time, so we had lists of problems on designing the website. However, the teachers of ours teach us lots of designing key points, the technical knowledges of making the webpage.

We can help society through Cyberfair’s research and we can know how people help our society.

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

1. Computers 2. Camera 3. iMovie for editing the video

These tools is our important materials while we're doing the competition. Computers help us make our website, camera helps us on recording the interview. iMovie helps us edit our interview video and add subtitles, which is edited on computers.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

The project may make a difference by influencing the people minds, this project can make readers learn more about indigenous doctors in Taiwan. People all around the world can tell

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Yes, some of our teammates need lots of help on making the website or arranging the informations we learned and founded. Our teacher Wins Peng, and Dr. Bear Shao helped us a lot on teaching us how to make the website.
