Ershui Township is located in the southeast of Changhua County. It is located in the center of Taiwan and is slightly southwest. It is the most southeastern township in Changhua County. The township covers an area of 29.449 square kilometers. Ershui Township is a typical agricultural township. The township has no industrial pollution. Ershui is located at the southwestern end of the Baguashan Mountain Range. At the top of the alluvial fan plain of the Zhuoshui River.Ershui Township has a peaceful villager and a strong folk customs. The agricultural activities in Ershui Township are prosperous. The agricultural specialties in the area include: white pomelo, fairy grass, guava, bamboo shoots, etc. Ershui Township relies on the Bagua Mountain Range in the east, and the Babaozhen river is running through the township, which have the advantage of the Lishan environment. Our school is surrounded by farmland and is a typical rural primary school. The school promotes food and agriculture education and can be said to be integrated with local community resources. The teachers and students of the whole school participate in the activities of the agricultural education, and naturally form a school-wide food and agriculture education community. We also invite parents and the community to join our food and agriculture education activities to promote local consumption of organic agriculture.Let the concept of organic agriculture, as well as the concept of local production and local consumption, be implemented in the community, thereby promoting the reduction of food carbon footprint and non-toxic agricultural production.

2. Summary of Our Project

Our school is surrounded by agricultural land and is a typical rural elementary school. In order to let us know the local agricultural environment and understand the local industry and agricultural products, the school listed food education as one of the special courses for the development of the school. In the process of promoting food and agriculture education for more than five years, it can be said that it is a total mobilization. Everyone is part of the school's food and agriculture education and forms the food and agriculture society of our school. Therefore, we would like to record the promote process of the school's promotion of food and agriculture education and participation in food and agriculture education. We hope that through our records, we will let everyone know the promote process and achievements of our food and agriculture education associations and our school to promote food and agriculture education. We hope that through our introduction, we will once again pay attention to the environment and land of our hometown and arouse everyone's respect and love for nature.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1.The number of photos is large and arrange difficult:   Integrate photos simultaneously with PhotoScape software. 2.Difficulties in making web pages..   Because our experience and skills in making web pages are not good enough, it is good to have the guidance of the teachers, which is very helpful for us to make web pages. 3.Research time is not easy to arrange..   Share or exchange data using email, interactive websites, and web hard drives. Collect and organize materials during vacation hours, then share information with team members so that we can understand our research more clearly. 4.Computers often have a situation:   Make good use of time to create web pages and diligently make more backups of your work results.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

1. Through our research report, we hope to draw residents' attention to their homeland. Ershui Township is the only township in Changhua County that has no industrial presence. We hope that through our research report, everyone will re-examine the beauty of their hometown and take care of their hometown. 2. Combine teaching to spread culture Our website links to the school website, which introduces the theme of campus and community animal and plant ecology, and hopes to be the best textbook for everyone to understand local natural resources. 3. Invite residents to participate in food and agriculture education activities We invite community residents to participate in our food and agriculture education activities. In the process, we learned a lot about farming. Community residents also agree with the school and have more interaction with the school.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

The research activities and courses of the thematic plan are combined with each other: 1.Combine the 'Art and Humanities' course In the production of crop planting posters, we learned how to arrange posters and art design techniques. How to make a beautiful and beautiful poster is really a lot of effort. 2.Combine the 'Nature and Life Technology' course   In the theme of natural ecology, we introduce the flora and fauna resources of the campus,The teacher took us to see so many plants, just to be able to connect with our natural curriculum, which make us more impressed with the course of study. 3.Combined Chinese language course The presentation of the research results needs to be narrated in words. Through the study and organization of materials, we have learned a lot of narrative grammar and how to present their own ideas. In the interviews, we used the native language lessons in the local language courses, which made everyone more aware of the importance of learning their native language. 4.Combine the use of network technology In the course of research activities, we often use the Internet, Internet hard disk, email, message board, face book and other methods. We have learned to research and share in a more efficient and time-independent manner, which has greatly improved our computer technology. 5.Integrated learning activities Through participation in the Cyber??Fair Internet Expo, our interviews, presentations, oral presentations and web page production techniques are getting more and more advanced. Of course, the biggest gain is the ability of teamwork, communication and knowledge integration in the process.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

1. Let people know that food and agriculture education is the beginning of getting close to the land and loving the land. The food and agriculture education in our school is combined with the local agricultural specialties and combined with local agricultural characteristics. In the future, we will continue to carry out relevant food and agriculture education activities to enhance children's agricultural knowledge, and to better understand the agricultural products of their hometown and to cherish their hometown. 2. The teachers and students of the whole school participate in the food and agriculture education to draw closer to the land and each other. The teachers and students of the school from the loose soil, sowing, care to the harvest of each stage, share the process of the ups and downs, this is a rare teacher-student interaction experience. Regardless of adults and children, through the experience of food and agriculture education, we have brought everyone closer, and we also love to be close to the land and appreciate the beauty of our hometown. 3. Spreading through the web is beautiful Through our website, we hope that people who are unfamiliar with the Fu-sing Elementary School in Ershui Township will be impressed by our school's promotion of food and agriculture education. Let everyone know how to protect their hometown environment. Let this priceless treasure last forever.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

1.Community volunteers participate in our food and agriculture education, so that the crops planted in our food and agriculture education park are richer. We can also learn a lot from them about the knowledge and methods of caring for crops.

2.Parents report that the process of planting, caring and cooking by children, the vegetables that they did not dare to eat before, dare to eat now, and also prefer to eat vegetables. What is even more rare is that all crops are planted in a non-toxic organic environment, which makes people eat healthier and more secure. I hope that the school can continue the education course for food and agriculture.

3.The crops grown are not good. After returning home to ask parents, parents who have planting experience will go to the school to guide the re-construction and replanting.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

1.Thanks to the Changhua County Government and the Rotary Club of Yuanlinn District for sponsoring school funds to develop food and agriculture education.

5.Thanks to the parents for their enthusiastic participation, providing information and assisting with the work.

6.Thanks to all the respondents who accepted our visit, and the valuable comments that we have given us to make our webpage content more complete.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

1.Interesting discovery After participating in this event, we went to visit our hometown and found out that Ershui Township is such a good place for people to live. 2.Lessons learned The most important thing to learn at this event is teamwork. As long as the group cooperates, helps each other, and cheers up, the whole research atmosphere can be continued. It can be done once, twice, or even ten times. 3.Lessons learned Originally thought that planting crops was very simple, and later realized that it was a hard and long journey from the beginning of planting to the harvest, so that we can better understand how hard it is to cherish food. 4.The surprise The final harvest is the most anticipated moment. We didn't expect us to make delicious dishes. What's more, we didn't like to eat vegetables. After eating the sweet taste of the non-toxic organic vegetables we planted, can savor the good taste of every food.
