Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

NTCTPS is located in the old city of Taichung (Central District). It has been a very prosperous center since the Japanese occupation. The second market was built because the Japanese government hopes to improve Taiwan's health habits. For example, it was set up at the time. There are toilets, the Japanese government will also strictly require businesses to place goods in the regulations! The second public market in the glory days was originally the 'Gover Shin Kong Mitsukoshi', but also has the 'Game Market' reputation! The market is a place to buy food everywhere, and it is also a 'funny disk' for preserving history in every place. The goods in the market are not arranged in a neat way, but give people a kind of intimate and intimate feeling. At the same time of shopping, some customers will gossip with the stalls. The tourists from all over the world will enter the second market. They can present the real culture of the Dalit and the old city of Taichung in the corner of the market.

From the aunts who are familiar with the door, he introduces several booths he often visits. Listening to the aunt said that this is what his son likes to eat. Is that the grandson likes it? Is that the wife's designated hand-dish food? Such a daily conversation? It seems that I also saw Taiwanese mothers - on the market - never for themselves? But for the family's stomach, satisfying everyone's stomach? It is the least achievement of a lifetime!

In the era of excessive pursuit of CP value, we seldom go deep into the process of food from the place of origin to the table in your eyes. In the second game, you will see, the chefs carefully and manage the small details, do Not careful observe and understand, you It is easy to miss a temperature and value, which is unique in the traditional market.

And here is the century-old market in Taichung. The accumulation and interaction of time creates its own uniqueness. It is definitely not the value that can be measured measured by a few stars. Here, you can find interesting and knowledgeable things when you are From the perspective of the eater, you can feel the changes of the seasons and seasons when you enter the market? Ah~ is the season of persimmons, the season of oranges! The brush in the mind draws the scenery on the table You can say the real cuisine. Home? Is it in the vegetable market? 4. Problems We Had To Overcome

During the process of making our report, we encountered some problems, such as when we were sorting out the materials, and there were still people who led the way, but we felt that the biggest problem was when we visited, because in addition to not asking questions, To correct the problem in a timely manner, you can get the best answer. The most important thing is to remember to be polite! We have done a lot of preparations and practiced many times before. After our continuous practice, we have made more and more progress and successfully completed this challenge.     This is the first time we have done our own online blog. Relatively, we have not done a good job. We have to divide into several folders at a time. We have to classify them into different categories in each folder. The information is divided into, so that it is convenient for us to put on the page. In order to make the page look richer, we made a photo collage with captions. First, we need to select the appropriate photos from a large number of photos according to our needs, then use software to collage, and finally Attached to the text description, it is considered to be done! To complete the report with the classmates, the most important thing is the communication and cooperation of the team, because once there is no communication, there may be no consensus, and everyone will quarrel. There is also teamwork. It takes a lot of time for one person to do one thing himself. Therefore, teammates are needed to help. Everyone has a division of labor and cooperation, and the time is much reduced compared to completing their homework. In this process, there are many things that we want to vote for, to obey the majority, and after voting, there will be some quarrels or thoughts. At this time, we will choose to give in or communicate with the other party, so that the original atmosphere will be Let the atmosphere become harmonious. In order for our activities to be completed smoothly, we will have …

5. Our Project Sound Bite

Here is the century-old market in Taichung. The accumulation and interaction of time creates its own uniqueness. It is definitely not the value that can be truly measured by a few stars. Here, you can find interesting and knowledgeable things when you go around. From the perspective of the diners, you can feel the changes of the seasons and seasons when you enter the market. It is the season of persimmons and the season of oranges. The brush in your mind draws the scenery on the table. It can be said that the real cook is in the market. The meat merchants, food stalls, and grocery stores who go to school have a very professional understanding and practice of the goods they sell.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Before entering the second market research, the teacher first taught us to 'interview the mind,' that is, how to interview other people's methods and courtesy. Then, before the interview, you must first do enough information to let the store feel that you really want to interview. He, we have to first understand the history and characteristics of each store, and then develop the issues to be visited.

Humanities research experience I participated in many activities during this special research, such as design posters, design game content, and stores visiting the second market... And the one I learned the most is access, I used to I just went to ask people questions, but I later found out that this is not the case. In fact, it also contains a lot of skills, such as when visiting, you can also find out related problems from the other party’s answers. The situation eases the atmosphere of the scene. The most important thing is to prepare relevant information beforehand so that the stupid question will not be listed when the problem is listed. I also learned how to organize the accessed materials into an article (like a magazine). The above also contains topics that are of interest to people and subtitles. The most profound thing that influenced me this time was the interaction with people in the market.

I am very pleased with this question, because it not only allows me to know the details of many food markets, but also let me know that the season of eating and eating, not only for the health of the body, but also to reduce the carbon footprint. By the way, taste the snacks there. I think the great thing I did was that I felt that I had worked hard to complete every task that the teacher explained and tried my best! Finally, I want to thank the teacher. And classmates can give me this opportunity to participate in this event, I hope I can work hard not to let myself regret!

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

In this era of brand-oriented consumption, how to attract the public into the traditional market, close to the market around our lives, understand the cultural characteristics of the local? After we had the idea of ??a second-market primary school, we must then seek to accept it, so we handed the proposal to the manager of the vegetable market, Chen Shushu, and Chen Shushu. The mouth promised us, and told us that we must submit a document application site to the city government at the same time. We have the assistance of the Economic Development Bureau, so that we can The second market held a special exhibition for a week. We also went to the education radio station to promote our activities. In addition to the teachers and students of the school, we also invited The young students of Tainan Madou Country followed us to the second market, and led the students who exchanged their studies from Thailand to know the traditional city of Taichung Old City. field. In these processes, we attracted the attention of the Donghai University Humanities and Social Planning team. They invited us to participate in the market theme exhibition from March to June. We feel that I am very honored to be a small Taichung cultural ambassador. At the beginning, we really didn't expect to go to this step today. I didn't expect a small action to be fermented. This is what we didn't expect. The second market is small. The school’s actions are still going on, and we also want to invite you into the second market, listening to the market and telling stories.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Moving the classroom to the vegetable market, in addition to knowing the historical origin of the second market and entering the market, we discovered that it is a life and a life study. The school, to understand the ingredients on the table, the way to buy, the specialty stores belonging to the second market, etc., the original second market has such connotations. Before the event, we did a survey and found that regardless of the adults and children, the second market is unfamiliar, leaving the impression that the media introduced the queuing beauty. Food, those old stores that have been stationed for dozens or even hundreds of years, have always been ignored. After our event, we got great feedback, no matter how big People or children, they know more about the development of the second market and the old city of Taichung! Subvert their impression of the original second market (limited to snacks) In the activities of queuing goods, we not only inherited the temperature of life experience exchanges into the market, but also passed on the history and culture of the development of the old city in the central area.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Many people in the research process have helped us to help our research be more complete and better.

1.Community resources Mothers took us to the market--- classmates' Grandma, the owner of the yokomeco restaurant, and the retired Wu’s principal. Street vendors in the market --- Fresh fish stalls, Japanese grocery store owners, bosses of pork stalls, market administrators, food stall owners, food market managers 2. Government Application for permission for space exhibition from the Economic Development Board 3. School administration Teachers from various schools in the school assist in curating, 4. Parents Parents help us to deliver finished products

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

Through this event, I have made great changes to the traditional market. I rarely go shopping with my mom and dad to the market, so I always thought that the traditional market was a dirty, old and unsanitary place. However, after actually visiting the second market, I found that the second market was not only human, but also did not imagine the dirty, old, and other chaos. I think the second market is a place that seems to be ordinary and in fact, but hides many historical sources and stories. If we carefully understand the beauty of the ancient architecture and the taste of the historical style.

After this activity, I have learned a lot. I have learned a lot from the beginning of production and publicity, and I have learned a lot of rare experiences. With so many days of activities in the second market, I also deeply understand the history and culture of the second market. In the context of rapid social changes, we still retain the traditional human touch and ancient features, and have its simple side. Thank you teacher for This event.
