Also at an altitude of about 400 meters high mountain, mild climate, sunshine air water is plentiful, is a small number of Taiwan suitable for people to live, farming life of the hideaway. 'Cold Spring Rice' by the North Hong Kong Creek Basin Water Irrigation tillage, its source is Acacia mountain melting snow seepage and Huisun Forest Farm Primeval Forest confluence out of the water source, water quality cool and clear, abundant water, rich in humus soil minerals, nutrient-rich, is only one of the few pollution-free rivers in Taiwan, It is a good place to grow rice in a unique way.

2. Summary of Our Project

After graduating from Mr. Huang Guofeng, his father always encouraged him to return to his hometown to engage in organic agriculture. He never thought it. After the financial turmoil and work pressure, he remembered his father’s words and had the idea of going home to farm. Mr. Huang Guofeng started to farm, and he has set a goal to create his own brand. When he came back, because he had no experience in farming, he lowered his course and studied hard. He not only studied agricultural courses, but also eager to ask the farmers around him. His efforts gradually gained recognition, and he was selected as one of the country's top 100 young farmers. Mr. Huang Guofeng, who has been engaged in organic agriculture for seven years, feels the spiritual satisfaction that has not existed before. The father and son told the people who are interested in farming, and cultivated them in a friendly way. They can not only cultivate safe crops, but also protect the land and achieve sustainable development. The goal.

E. Additional comments concerning your computer and/or Internet access (Optional):

The school's network is 100MB fiber-optic network connectivity Changhua County Education Network Center, while the teachers and students in the home network is mostly cable TV broadband, ADSL or 10MB fiber network.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

Mr. Huang Guofeng is an organic rice grower. He switched from the electronics industry to agriculture. We want to understand the process of farming. The first difficulty encountered is professional. Although I eat every day, I think Rice should not be so difficult to understand. As a result, it was discovered that every process was professional. From the understanding of rice agricultural machinery, the understanding of rice varieties, rice harvesting, seedling process, rice milling, color sorting, white rice packaging, etc., each has his professional knowledge, not immediately understandable, it takes time to digest.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

After doing this special research project, we gained a lot of valuable experience. Mr. Huang Guofeng, as a producer of organic agriculture, can rely on research and development and make good use of the land, and grow the organic 'Cold Spring Rice'. Rice is the staple food of Taiwanese people, and there are countless people who grow rice. It is not easy to become a leader among them. We also have to challenge this outlook on life.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

In this project, we learned how to arrange trips, coordination and liaison. These skills are closely related to our daily lives and we can use them at any time in our daily lives. In the process, due to the large amount of data collection and editing, we must assign everyone responsible for the work to complete the task. In the process, we learn how to get along with others and how to coordinate their work so that everyone's abilities are fully realized. The Internet allows us to work more effectively, and we can discuss and edit information online right away. We can find more information on the Internet in less time, and this factor allows us to get more benefits.

2. Actual visits: All processes from the field to the table through direct visits to the organic rice production process.Together with the farmer education course taught in person by the subject character of our Minglun team 'Mr. Huang ', we have presented it on the website to let more people know about agriculture and Mr. Huang's ideals and persistence in agriculture.

2. From the various tasks of this research, we learned the access skills, the compilation of recording materials, summary records, and other information transmission capabilities such as file transmission and data collection.

3. From the process of division of labor and cooperation in this competition, we deeply understand the principle of 'solidarity and strength', but we also understand the importance of 'responsibility'. The division of labor and cooperation may make everyone more relaxed, but if the team Some people are not responsible. If you do not do your assigned work well, you may delay or drag on everyone. Therefore, everyone in the team is not only responsible for themselves, but also responsible for everyone.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We selected the protagonist Mr. Huang Guofeng, an outstanding young farmer elected by Taichung District Agricultural Improvement and Extension Station. So when we asked for assistance, Taichung District Agricultural Improvement and Extension Station, the researchers were happy to be our helpers and help us arrange the relevant itinerary. At the same time, Mr. Huang Guofeng's friends have also become volunteers, participating in and assisting with our programs.
