Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

The New Taipei City where we live is one of the six capitals of Taiwan. It is the largest administrative district in Taiwan with as many as 29 cities. Among them, Zhonghe District, where we are located, is the third most populous area in the new North City, with a population of approximately 414,000 and a population density of 20,100 people per square kilometer. Because the land is relatively small, it is the fifth highest urban area in Taiwan.

Zhonghe is located in the center of the major population and geography of New Taipei City. With investment in major public projects, it gradually became the industrial and commercial center of New Taipei City. The Zhonghe No. 3 National Highway No. 2 North No. 2 and the Taipei MRT Zhonghe Expressway are open to traffic, so transportation is convenient. Therefore, all industries and industries have developed very well. Therefore, many printing industries are required to help publicity, whether it is to create advertising flyers, carton boxes, or Books and magazines require a lot of printed materials, so many printing companies are concentrated in Zhonghe Industrial Zone. Therefore, we study our themes and define our hometown - Zhonghe.

2. Summary of Our Project

There are many industrial areas in Zhonghe District of New Taipei City. From the early days of the people's livelihood industry (textile industry, food processing industry), the factory was stationed along Zhongshan Road and Liancheng Road, and neighboring Banqiao and Tucheng Industrial Zones. A series of links form the industrial production center around Taipei City. Instead, the factory building and many high-tech electronic, computer, and software design companies entered. Among them, the printing industry is located around Lide Street, Zhongshan Road and Bannan Road. Printing related industries, Zhonghe has a lot of related companies and factories, from the nearby Lide Street, you can see rolling, embossing, glazing and other factories (other hot stamping, origami, collation, threading, envelopes, riding Staples, information printing, paper, binding, paste boxes...) These companies chose to settle in neutrality and form a great feature. This is the reason why we want to discuss the topic of 'China Printing Printing Industry'.

Overall, our thematic project started with research printing. Its main objectives are:

1. Understand the position and development of the Zhonghe Printing Industry and ask why.

2. Introduce the knowledge of the work content of the printing industry according to the three stages before and after printing, so that more people can understand.

3. Publicize the printing industry in schools and tell people with posters, briefings, etc. to let us know more about this land.

3. Our Computer and Internet Access

A. Percentage of students using the Internet at home:more than 50%

B. Number of workstations with Internet access in the classroom:more than 6

C. Connection speed used in the classroom:dedicated connection

D. Number of years our classroom has been connected to the Internet:more than 6

E. Additional comments concerning your computer and/or Internet access (Optional):

The school uses the county and city education bureau network, with a bandwidth of up to 100M, allowing us to learn and use it in computer classrooms. There are 2 computer classrooms. A total of 60 computers can use the Internet at any time. There are 10 members in our team. Therefore, there is no problem in using the Internet. Although the system we use is the Ubuntu system, it does not affect the process of finding information and doing homework.

In addition, we also have our own dedicated Google Drive for storing their own jobs and files. Moreover, we have computers in our homes, so in addition to the common collection time of the school, we can collect and organize data at home, and we also use e-mail to share and transmit information with the cloud space.

The teacher also has NAS network hard drive, can send files to FTP at any time, and present our website in real time, so as to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each web page, accelerate our …

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1. The problem of time coordination

Due to the relatively late decision to sign up for the Internet Expo, the production process was relatively late. We use many morning studies and lunch breaks to practice. In November and December of the 105th year, almost every two weeks went out to visit the printing company. Sometimes it was too late for lunch. Also use holiday time to go to school to catch up with posters and briefings. Some students do not have enough time to participate because they want to practice clubs or participate in competitions. However, we use the cloud drive to collect information and complete it in a timely manner.

2. Access skills and noisy interview environment

The visit to us is a very unfamiliar and special skill. We may even be afraid of it. But after being guided by the teacher and maintaining courtesy, we set out to visit the librarian. Although sometimes we didn’t ask very well, the uncles and aunts interviewed by us all eagerly explained to us that we still have a good harvest. Problems related to visits, and we often listened to the noisy printing factory. Sometimes we could not hear clearly. The recording pen could not be clearly recorded. We had to rely on everyone's notes to restore the introduction of the day.

3. Miscellaneous work content

The teacher gathered for the first time and told us that the online expo is like a research report. I can't think of the process of gathering information, gathering, doing web pages, interviews, and revisions. It's so complicated. However, the teacher used Google Spreadsheets to distribute our work and track progress. Therefore, despite the complexity of writing articles and racking their brains, the website was still completed.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

During the course of the study, we also found many problems. Working in a printing factory may attract too much dust and cause respiratory diseases, but there are also many factory machines and technologies that can overcome this problem; some printers' potions Contamination of the environment, but there are many machines that can use environmentally friendly ink to reduce the harm to the environment. Although e-book products and online reading have changed the habit of reading books in recent years, it has affected the weakness of the printing industry. However, our lives are still inseparable from printing. Any paper packaging, advertising leaflets, and books and magazines still require the printing industry to work silently behind the scenes. The printing industry we have observed is continuously improving. Whether it is the factory's equipment or new printing and binding processing technologies, people can love reading again.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

The online community expo encourages students in the school, explores local culture and the environment with special research and teamwork, and uses the internet as a tool for communication. Activities must be shared through the Internet to share the learning experience of exploring Taiwan’s rich and diverse face with teachers and students around the world, thus deepening the students’ international outlook. In conjunction with education units, families, and private companies, they promote information, the environment, and local education. In addition to the connotation of information education and the spirit of English education, we will cultivate visions and capabilities of future generations that are in line with the world. Through the process of competition, we will be deeply involved in the education of the environment and implement information, internet, English, and environmental concerns in primary and secondary schools. 2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

All of our research members introduce the nature of the work in the printing industry and the printing industry. And through posters, briefings, and small book experiential activities, we can let everyone know that the printing industry can be very lively. How the technology makes prints more beautiful.

After the visit, we have consolidated all the results into a website with rich pictures and texts. 4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

In the research process of the topic, it takes a lot of time to collect information and create web pages. Everyone has limited time, but everyone cheers for each other's goals and their feelings are better than before. This is an unexpected and small gain for the topic.          The topics need to be discussed and accepted together. The collection of information requires a division of labor. In the process, we share ideas about the printing industry and examples of which prints we have seen. After the study of this topic, we have benefited a lot. In the future, we will pay more attention to printing knowledge, future development, and impact on other industries. I also hope that I can use this website to tell everyone that printing the industry will be sure to come into contact with any industry related to the document.
