Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Our school is located in a crowded urban area surrounded by roads in the vicinity of a supermarket and a large number of parking spaces. To limit the impact of air pollution and noise but the school, we decided to set up a green space at School

2. Summary of Our Project

Improve the environment in the vicinity of the school expansion / arrangement of green space area school Developing pupils' skills and knowledge to environmental conservation by creating a vertical gardens in school

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

In order to optimize the quality of the environment inside the school building this time, we intend to realize three vertical gardens, in sunny areas that offer conditions for plant growth, but to and benefit from the microclimate generated by them, by lowering the temperature and increasing humidity in those three areas. Vertical gardens are made using PET containers anchored to a metal mesh fixed to the wall

5. Our Project Sound Bite

With our project we want to offer our high aesthetics, which currently has an undeveloped green space and at the same time to beautify school hallways with vertical gardens. In this way we realize our colleagues on the consequences of neglecting the environment in our immediate neighborhood and the need to protect permanent nature.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

We learn how to work in a group and more informations about many species of flowers, plants. Colleges and any volunteer who wants to be involved in the proposed activity will help to planting seedlings / saplings, and to maintain and care for them. In September the team will manufacture according to guidelines developed by the makers of this activity, green pots for creating vertical garden. Each team member will also have responsibilities for informing colleagues and teachers (through posters and promotional actions in conducting classes at master classes)

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We used computers, plastic bottles, rope, wire, flowers, scissor ground.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

We came into contact with many specialists who have learned about different species of plants.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?
